January Intern Program for College Students

The Coalition offers an intensive 3-week volunteer internship program for college students each January to coincide with Human Trafficking Prevention Month.

Our 2018 Intern Program was to create a PSA "How NJ is Battling Human Trafficking".

Watch the PSA here:

Our 2018 Intern Program was run by several members of our 2017 Intern Program - taking their knowledge and passion to inspire the next generation of student activists.

Many thanks to our Intern Director, Dr Louise Murray, and to the 2017 Interns who developed and ran this year's program:

  • Jena Angeliadis - Assistant Director & Program Developer
  • Gianluca D'Elia - Assistant Director & Managing Editor
  • Britnee Brown - Program Associate
  • Phoebe Smith - Program Associate

Our 2017 Intern Program Members are pictured below:

Once our interns have completed their January Internship ongoing opportunities are open to them, including serving on committees, helping to run events, and more. Several of our 2017 Program Graduates have helped to design, and will assist in running the 2018 Program.
