Join The Coalition

The Coalition is made up of volunteer abolitionists and also represents over 170 diverse statewide organizations. It is free for organizations to affiliate, and all are welcome.

Individuals join the Coalition by getting involved on one of our committees. Some of those committees are listed lower on this page, but if you have another ideas of how you’d like to help, please email

Both individuals and organizations should sign up to get our newsletters - see bottom of the page. Also please follow us:

  • Facebook: @njhumantrafficking

  • Twitter: NJ_Coalition

  • Instagram: njhumantrafficking

Once your organization is affiliated, we ask that you agree to promote the work of the Coalition when suitable. The Coalition will publicize your organization’s human trafficking awareness events when co-branded. The Coalition reserves the right not to co-brand an activity where there is a conflict with a Coalition event.

To apply to become affiliated with the Coalition please follow the link below to complete a form.

The Coalition is run entirely by volunteers, so please consider getting involved by joining one of the committees that are open to all. Please click on the committee name to learn more and complete a form to get involved:

  • Arts (email to join the Arts Committee)

  • Education (by invitation only - educators only email info@njhumantrafficking for details)

The Board of Trustees is governing body of the Coalition, and the Steering Committee is the organizing body of the Coalition.

We invite those with great interest in all aspects of our work to join the Steering Committee as an “Observer” and after a period of time, observers are invited to join as full voting members, who make personal commitments to participating and supporting the Coalition.

For questions about the Steering Committee please email
